Streaming Spider-Man and Acting Like Him at a College Party

It was around the fall of 2004 when I was first asked if I wanted to go to a college party, the first ever invite I had for an official party. My response was, "A-YUH!" So, as one does when you go to a party where the beer flows like wine, you experiment with your boundaries on alcohol consumption. I definitely tested a limit, but I didn't go too far, thankfully. Well, I did go far. And unfortunately for me, there were consequences I never thought about. You see, when I went to Florida State I had a very strong desire to go into film school. Getting an interview for the school was about a 10-percent chance and they accepted 15 people of the 30 interviewees into the program. So, in total, a 5 percent chance to get into this prestigious school. Marvel's Spider-Man basically builds upon a lot of previous games. It's been heavily stated that the game is modeled after Batman: Arkham Asylum, but I hadn't played those games in the past. I didn't cat

A Full, Extensive, Thorough Guide to Streaming Video Games for Beginners

There's no secret. Streaming video games has caught on with many gamers like wildfire. The technology has finally adapted so that anyone, young or old, can start a streaming career even with basic equipment. Some streamers have seen success even with a one-monitor setup, while others who have gone all out on purchasing loads of equipment haven't seen much success at all. It proves that equipment—green screens, high-end sound equipment, multiple monitors—isn't the key to success. So, then what? How does one get from point A, just beginning a stream, to point Z, developing an audience that actually pays you money for entertainment ? It's honestly never an exact science to tell you the truth. A lot of it has to do with personality, who you network with, who you support, and what to expect from all of that. But I would argue the most important thing of all is never get discouraged  with streaming video games. Millions of aspiring content creators all have the same ide

A Very Personal Note to My Community--Again

Hi there. I'm sure you haven't seen me online much of lately. I took some time off to re-evaluate a lot of things. Plus, I've been struggling to find work and I was finally able to. I nearly had to move back in with my mom which I didn't want to do. But I finally found work at the last minute, and I'm able to support myself again, thankfully. The thing about streaming video games , especially doing a solo job is that the level of politics can get pretty ridiculous. I can't imagine what it's like being on the top of that ladder—everyone wants to be your friend when all they're trying to do is get money out of you. Money changes people, believe me, I've seen it. When you walk into a store wearing a 3-thousand dollar suit and everyone drops what they're doing to give you things, it's a very big change. When suddenly everyone wants you to try their new game, or they want to give you free things for wearing their shirt, it's a scary thing, e

Twitch Streaming Horizon Zero Dawn and the time I Applied for a Phone Sex Hotline Position

No, I wasn't going to be operating the phone sex hotline. My voice isn't great enough to do that, but I'm sure they had people behind the scenes that were great at encouraging others to...feel certain things through words of encouragement. But regardless, I thought it was a fantastic opportunity at first. Boy howdy, I was wrong. I looked up what I -thought- was the address to this location and I found it in Santa Monica, a very large building in the center of some metro that I thought would be great to work in. The position was live-in so I actually would have an apartment. That should have been my first red flag, but it wasn't. The second red flag is when they sent me to Olympic and Alameda. I didn't consider it a red flag until I actually arrived at the location. Across the street there were at least ten shopping carts full of homeless people swag. I parked and was very scared. If you're considering twitch streaming Horizon Zero Dawn, it's a bi

Twitch Streaming with Chicken Assassin: What Works and What Doesn't

I was 18 years old when I hid inside of a woman's bathroom while avoiding police that were roaming the parking lot in a public park. Not quite like this. But close. It was kind of stupid of me and two friends to get a bottle of cheap-ass vodka and go to a public park to get trashed beyond belief. We made screwdrivers because you mix orange juice and vodka. Pretty simple. My natural instinct when I drink with friends is to stay up nearly all night. I tend to have a nocturnal nature, and so while the rest of my friends were passed out from drinking so much, I started wandering around the public park. It was actually a good  idea despite the rest of the decisions. So recently I tried twitch streaming Chicken Assassin, and the game undoubtedly has some strong points. A very clear, progressive ladder towards end-level stuff and a currency that you have to build and gather towards end-game content. Nothing out of the ordinary. A lot of it is actually fun because you get rand
